About Us
We sponsor travel basketball teams for Natick boys and girls in grades 5 through 8. Our "A" and "B" teams participate in the Metrowest league, which consists of suburban towns located to the west and south of Boston.
Our teams hold try-outs in mid-October, and practice and play games from late October through mid-March. All practices are held in Natick public schools and other Natick recreational facilities, generally twice a week during October and November and once a week in December through March.
All regular seasons games are played on Sundays, starting in December, in Natick and other towns participating in the Metrowest league. Playoff games take place, generally on weekends, in late February through mid-March. Teams may also play in weekend tournaments sponsored by towns in eastern Massachusetts. Natick holds its own tournament in November over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Our purpose is to provide quality coaching and competition for boys and girls interested in developing their basketball skills. We hope our players will develop a love for the game of basketball and an appreciation of the "team sport" experience.
Many of our players also participate in the intramural basketball program sponsored by the Natick Recreation and Parks Department for boys and girls in grades 4 through 8. Our practices and games do not conflict with those of the intramural league.
